Hi! Welcome to the future.
Let's talk abour About B/UNI

B/UNI is a next-generation music label and creative platform built on an Artist-First philosophy.
Unlike traditional label structures—where profits and decision-making power are heavily centralized—B/UNI redesigns the system from the ground up to create an ecosystem where artists can focus on their craft and grow sustainably.

A New Investment Model for Music

A Hybrid Revenue System That Maximizes Artist Value

B/UNI adopts an 8:2 revenue split, where
80% goes directly to the artist and
20% is retained by the label.

Importantly, the label’s 20% is entirely reinvested into the artist through:

  • Promotion and branding

  • Playlist strategy

  • Visual media production

  • Creative development

  • Live support and distribution

This creates an environment where artists can fully concentrate on creation while achieving long-term profitability and visibility.

University-Driven Creative Ecosystem

B/UNI operates with the strength of a large academic creative community composed of students from Keio, Waseda, Sophia, Hosei, and other top universities.

These creators support:

  • Artwork and visuals

  • Video production

  • SNS operations

  • A&R and strategic support

  • Data analytics

  • Live production

With academically trained creators collaborating with artists, both speed and quality of production increase dramatically.
This synergy allows emerging artists to accelerate their careers from the very beginning.

B/UNI introduces a groundbreaking model that allows fans and supporters to make micro-investments in an artist’s song or project.

  • Listeners participate as small-scale investors.

  • Revenue is distributed similar to a “racehorse” dividend model, where a portion of release profits is returned to supporters.

  • Each project includes a transparent investment frame, functioning like a mini-IPO for new works.

  • Returns and risk indicators are provided through a clear, easy-to-understand interface.

This approach transforms music from something consumed passively into a participatory cultural investment.

Benefits for Supporters & Investors

B/UNI provides a new investment experience that offers both cultural and long-term value:

  1. Early entry into Japan’s growing electronic music market

  2. Clear visibility into project potential, including reports on production cost, social metrics, and forecasted performance

  3. AI-assisted risk evaluation

  4. Transparent structures that prevent gambling-type behavior and promote healthy participation

  5. Revenue distribution from streaming, YouTube monetization, live performance-driven royalties, and other sources

  6. Cultural and social impact returns, supporting the development of the next generation of Japanese artists

This forms a sustainable investment model that benefits both creators and supporters.
